Cooper starts kindergarten this year! I honestly don’t know what I am going to without him; not only me but Boone too, they’re the best frenemies and I am afraid Boone is going to get bored of me real fast! I guess time will tell. One thing that helped us to get over the ‘school starting’ blues was school shopping! I remember going as a child and just loved it. Our first and only stop was Old Navy, of course, because it never fails to have what we need, Cooper could live in their PJ sets if I would let him! Since I was a little bummed that school was started so soon for him I decided to get myself a pity party outfit…guess what it totally worked!
The season of school starting also means that fall is on it’s way, so I try to think into the future when school shopping. Right now I am loving the denim trends lately-denim on denim, layering it with dresses, mixing denim with fun prints etc. Old Navy had the perfect pieces to make my denim dreams come true. I love that the denim pieces work now in the warmer weather but will make the perfect transition pieces into fall, plus Cooper looks pretty darn dapper and VERY confident which is always a win in my book! I am a big believer in ‘when you feel good you look good and do good’ but sometimes you need a little something to make you feel good and sometimes that something is new clothes! So I know that little man is going to do great this coming school year because we have him decked out in lots of “feel goods” thanks to Old Navy! I have linked all the pieces below because I want you to feel good too!
