What are some of your fall traditions that you have started with your family? We started this one just last year to visit our the cutest pumpkin patch in Utah-you can see the photos from last year here. It's a greenhouse turned pumpkin haven! It truly is magical and fun rolled into a bundle of fall joy. They offer free bounce houses for the kids and an area to go dig around in the corn and if you choose to purchase them they have the coolest pumpkins around. I just loved how much fun my boys had. Cooper wanted to take all the pumpkins home. He would use all his strength and load them in the wagon. In the end we told him he could choose one, because knew it wouldn't be our first pumpkin patch visit. His chose was not what I was expecting he choose the tiniest little green gourd and he held it all the way home singing songs about "punkins" haha.
Boone didn't care as much about the pumpkins as Cooper, unless he was trying to eat them. He kept handing them to me and squeezing his whole body into a little shake which to him means "open;" I think he has watched me a few too many times trying to open the jar of pickles or something hehe. He didn't quite understand that they didn't "open" though so he just continued trying to gnaw through them. Boone sure did love all the decorations and the music that was playing. He even went up to a random stranger with his arms stretched out wanting her to pick him up. She asked if it was okay after me trying to coax him away and him repeatedly going back to her. I gave her the okay and as soon as she picked him up he started dancing around in her arms to the Harry Potter soundtrack and we had our own mini dance party. It was a fun day that even ended with an Ikea run for me, Cabela's run for my husband and a happy meal run for the boys. I hope you all have had a great October so far and I cannot wait to show you what I have in store the coming week!
