Well now we are renters again. We officially SOLD our home! It went under contract in less than 8 day of being on the market! The rental home we are temporarily living in is about half the size of the home we sold, and quite a bit older; even though it has been quite a change compared to what we had before I absolutely love the view from our rental home! Not only do we have the view of the beautiful mountains peaks sitting high in the sky, we also have this white fence out front that my husband actually helped build when he was young. This for some reason makes me LOVE the fence. When I walk by our front windows and it catches my eye I smile. When we go for walks I always admire the craftsmanship that went into it. And when my boys climb it makes me all sentimental-it reminds me each day what a hard worker and amazing father he is to our family.
Well right now that fence that my husband helped build is hosting the prettiest 'neigh'bors. It's such a nice change of scenery compared to our subdivision life we had before, I mean we just weren't meant for that life....remember the sheep? Anyway, we just love to watch our new horse 'neigh'bors run wild when storms start rolling in, hearing them whinny when a new horse approaches or the other has to leave, taking them apples and grasses we've picked for their enjoyment, petting their fuzzy noises but most of all just enjoying their company. Cooper has claimed them as his own. He wants to ride and visit them everyday; which we usually do even if its just a quick run across the road to say hello before we begin our day. Once they are gone this fall-after they have fed down their pasture feed- I know we will miss them so much. Hopefully it will just help us try to get our little butts in gear to get to a home where we can keep our horse out front instead of at my parents.. someday! But you know what they 'Rome wasn't built in a day' or 'good things take time'- no matter what witty quote I choose to live by right now it's still hard not to get a little impatient. I'm just glad we have a little bit of the country life to help us keep us focused on our goals right across the street!
