It was Labor Day weekend, the night was cool in temperature and we could feel the first sign of fall on our skin. We parked camp near a stream just for the night to work with some of the most amazing ladies- Dayna from Dayna Grace Photography andJanea Greene, who had never been up our little canyon before. The boys were playful and fun as they explored the world around them. We found a cute little white shed, a trough that was an old bathtub with running water that we played in letting our hands feel the cold water, and a rope swing that is every little boys...and Jared's dream where they could feel the adrenaline and wind rush about their bodies. The smell of camp fire filled our noses, and the taste of mallows, grams, and chocolate filled our mouths and bellies as we sat listening to the boys run around the rustling trees and the crackling fire... and I realized that I am truly the luckiest.

After we left that night I was so excited to see the things that Dayna and Janea captured from our night. Most of the times getting pictures done with kids is such hard work and usually very stressful. This night was not-I think you can see that in the photos and video- They just let us be us, and I think you can tell that we are genuinely happy in them.
I love the playfulness that Dayna Grace Photography captured in the photos; She hit the nail right on the head with capturing each of our personalities and I can't forget to mention she is a dream with the kids. I have included her promo video below for you to watch how amazing she is at capturing those pictures and how she makes you feel at ease. Janea Greene captured the details of the night so perfectly. I love seeing all of Boone's many facial expression, the playful kick on the butt from Jared as we are walking down the hill, and seeing him like a kid on that swing. I can't get over Grizz'z little chubby hands as he strokes my arm, and watching Cooper examine and touch every little thing he walks by and his smile form on his face...oh that smile! These moments may not seem like anything special but when I watch them I realize they are everything I love about our family. Thanks to Janea I won't forget about these tiny details that are so often forgotten. So if you haven't ever done a video I highly recommend it. If you're lucky enough to hire both Dayna and Janea together then you scored the jackpot. I want to genuinely thank you, Dayna and Janea, for asking little old me to be part of this collaboration, I honestly had tears running down my face as I viewed the finished product that you ladies sent me. To say that you are a dream team would be an understatement.
